  段恩奎,男,1956年6月出生于陕西省宝鸡市,博士,研究员,博士生导师;中国科学院动物研究所胚胎生物学研究组组长。
  中国科学院百人计划入选者、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选、“973”项目首席科学家,科技部发育与生殖重大研究计划第一届专家组副组长、第二届专家组召集人。1995年和1998年分别赴澳大利亚和美国进行合作研究。现任Journal of Biological Chemistry、Endocrinology、Current Zoology、生命科学杂志编委和“中国妇幼健康研究会”副会长。主要研究方向是胚胎植入和成体干细胞的增殖调控和诱导分化。实验室先后发表SCI论文100多篇,独立申请皮肤干细胞新方法方面专利3项。先后获得“国务院政府特殊津贴”;“百千万人才工程国家级人选”;“全国人口与计划生育科技工作先进个人”;“国家重点实验室先进个人”;“全国人口和计划生育优秀科技成果一等奖”;“第七届中华人口奖”;“中国科学院朱李月华优秀教师奖”,“全国妇幼健康科学技术一等奖”等多项荣誉。

研究领域:
  主要从事胚胎植入分子机理和干细胞生物学研究,目前正在以基因敲除鼠为模型开展胚胎植入和胚胎发育机制的相关研究,另一方面研究人和小鼠表皮发育与皮肤干细胞相关信号转导通路及调控。
