  2000年获得国家杰出青年基金、香港求是基金会“杰出青年学者奖”、教育部跨世纪人才基金、教育部优秀青年教师奖,2001年入选第四批教育部长江学者计划特聘教授,2007年获得何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖。
  1979.9 -1983.7,西南农业大学农学系本科生;
  1983.8 -1987.5,中国水稻研究所实习研究员;
  1987.5 -1990.11,英国诺丁汉大学遗传系博士生;
  1990.12 -1998.8,先后在北京农业大学(现中国农业大学)做博士后研究和任副教授;
  1996.3-1998.8,在美国佐治亚医学院做访问研究;
  1998.9以来,清华大学生物系教授;
  2008.3-中国科学院动物研究所研究员。 

研究领域:

  主要利用斑马鱼为模式动物,结合分子生物学、细胞生物学、遗传学等技术,研究TGF-β/Nodal等重要信号通路在胚胎发育中的作用及分子机制,以及microRNA在斑马鱼早期胚胎发育中的功能。

社会任职:
  现任中国动物学会副理事长,Current Zoology主编、BMC Developmental Biology副主编、JCS和JBC编委会成员。
获奖及荣誉:
  2000年获得国家杰出青年基金、香港求是基金会“杰出青年学者奖”、教育部跨世纪人才基金、教育部优秀青年教师奖,2001年入选第四批教育部长江学者计划特聘教授,2007年获得何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖。
