  主要研究方向是昆虫-植物病毒-植物互作的分子机理。共发表论文60余篇,其中SCI论文41篇,在eLife、New Phytologist、FASEB Journal、Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology、Current Issues in Molecular Biology、BMC genomics、Functional Ecology等期刊上以第一作者或通讯作者发表文章。中国昆虫学会基因组专业委员会委员,北京农药学会理事。主持或做为课题骨干参加的科研项目有科技部“973”项目(子课题主持)、中科院战略性B类先导科技专项(青年课题组长)、公益性农业行业科研专项(子课题主持)、国家自然科学基金面上项目(主持)、国家科技重大专项及中科院重要方向项目等。研究重点包括:(1)以灰飞虱-水稻条纹病毒RSV-水稻为模式系统,探讨持久增殖型植物病毒与昆虫介体互作的分子机理及传播机制;(2)唾液蛋白在昆虫传播病毒及适应寄主植物的作用。
