  谭铮,博士,研究员,博士生导师;中科院动物研究所膜生物学国家重点实验室副主任,端粒与衰老研究组组长。
  国家“杰出青年科学基金”获得者、教育部“长江计划”特聘教授、中国科学院“百人计划”国外引进杰出人才、中国科学院特聘研究员。获国务院政府特殊津贴。入选国家新世纪“百千万人才工程”。曾任、现任中国生物物理学会常务理事、理事。1986-1988年中科院与荷兰Groningen州立大学微生物系合培博士生。1991-1996年分别在美国 North Carolina 州立大学、美国国立卫生研究院环境健康研究所分子与细胞药理学实验室进行客座研究。
  研究方向:衰老的分子生物学研究。主持承担和参加国家教委留学回国人员科研基金,国家自然科学基金委杰出青年基金,基金委重点基金,国家重点基础研究发展规划(973计划)等科研项目20多项。在国际主流杂志Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Engl.、Nucleic Acids Res.、Chem. Sci.、Anal. Chem.、Clin. Chem.、Chem. Commun. (Camb.)等发表研究论文50多篇。2009年获北京市科学技术奖一等奖(排名4),2009年中华医学科技奖一等奖(排名4),2010年获国家科学技术进步奖二等奖(排名4)。获得中国、美国发明专利各1项。
  实验室现有硕博连读研究生6名,博士后1名。已毕业博士生20名,均在国内外知名科研机构或公司从事研究工作,其中6人已晋升为教授。
