刘垒，中国科学院动物研究所膜生物学国家重点实验室研究员。主要从事线粒体自噬机制的研究，鉴定了一个新的哺乳动物线粒体自噬受体蛋白FUNDC1，并进一步阐明了FUNDC1介导线粒体自噬的分子机制。发表SCI论文30余篇，以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature Cell Biology，EMBO Journal，EMBO Reports，Cell Research, Autophagy等杂志发表多篇论文，其中Nature Cell Biology论文他引800余次，相关的研究工作受到了国际同行的广泛认可和高度评价。目前主要从事线粒体及其他细胞器质量控制的分子机制、生理和病理意义的研究。
